Healing with Happiness

The Healing with Happiness program trains childcare workers to deliver the JOYGYM program and Aerobic Laughter Therapy to orphans and vulnerable children.

The results are heartwarming.

● Stress, depression and trauma quickly reduce, and children become happy, playful, outgoing and able to show affection for others

● Quiet, withdrawn and lethargic children become happy and active

● They start taking pride in themselves and their appearance

● Disciplinary problems and bullying quickly reduce or disappear

Delivering Happiness

We implement the program with childcare workers to reduce their levels of stress and depression and help them to become more effective in their work.

The childcare workers then implement the JOYGYM program with the children at childcare centers or in community groups.

The kids enjoy a daily Aerobic Laughter therapy session. Within a week they compete to lead the laughter exercises, and impromptu sessions are started by kids throughout the day.

The transformation starts on the first day, with benefits that continue to grow as the program continues.

More than 14.8 million children in sub-Saharan Africa have lost one or both parents to AIDS.  More than 16% of children in Zimbabwe and 12% in Botswana and Swaziland, are orphaned due to AIDS.

Each of these children is a unique individual with the potential for a brilliant future.

Science shows that early age emotional trauma, if not treated, can result in life-long problems and an inability to meet their full life potential.

While there are not enough psychologists and social workers in the world to help these children through traditional counseling and therapy, the JOYGYM program has been shown to heal their trauma and restore them to a positive childhood experience.

NAMED SPONSORSHIP

The Healing with Happiness program at a school or childcare center will be named after you, your company, the person you are paying tribute to, or the gifted person.
