THERAPY REGIME
For maximum benefit patients should participate in
JOYGYM therapy sessions daily or at least five days
a week.

skills and can participate in making the patient

COACHING FOR INDIVIDUALS
JOYGYM™ Cancer Coaching can be provided for people
living with cancer individually or in groups
depending on patient preference, energy levels and
mobility.
Self practice training can be provided, but practice
within a group of family, friends and others is
easier to maintain.
FAMILY COACHING
Cancer Coaching differs from conventional therapies
in that we strongly recommend the entire family and
others close to the patient participate in therapy,
and are trained to deliver therapy.
The burden of cancer spreads beyond the patient to
include family members (especially spouse, partner,
children, parents and siblings) close friends,
caregivers, and others close to the patient.
JOYGYM therapy helps all members of this group
to resolve related stress, anxiety and depression
and allows them to become part of an ongoing
peer-to-peer therapy delivery process.
Family therapy brings group members closer together
in happiness and mutual support and provides the
patient with the benefits of daily therapy without
ongoing costs.
SUPPORT GROUP COACHING
Coaching cancer support groups provides therapy in a
setting of peers that is often comforting to
patients. If possible we recommend that family
members be included in therapy sessions.
In support groups that meet less than five times a
week we recommend that meetings be used to introduce
the therapy and to train participants in regular
self-therapy.
CANCER COACHING IN CLINICS
Laughter therapy is widely offered in USA cancer
clinics, often during chemotherapy visits.
We are ready to provide cancer coaching services in
clinics, but prefer to train clinic staff to deliver
the therapy. This provides powerful psychosocial
support for clinic staff and can improve
productivity and the quality of care offered while
providing patients with a happier environment
and the benefits of daily JOYGYM cancer coaching.
A JOYGYM certification program that includes
training, best practice maintenance and ongoing
monitoring and evaluation of results is available
